Job Summary: The Core Data Supervisor is responsible for managing district-wide student information and support systems, ensuring accurate data collection, and overseeing data entry into the Missouri Core Data/MOSIS reporting system in accordance with district policies. This position plays a key role in supporting district accreditation, conducting attendance audits, and ensuring compliance with all data requirements set by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). As the primary point of contact and manager for Infinite Campus, the Core Data Supervisor collects, compiles, and reports data across multiple district programs. This role reports directly to the Director of Technology.
Essential Job Functions
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential duties:
- Submit state reports in accordance with the Core Data requirements and expectations established by D.E.S.E.
- Ensure accuracy of all state reporting information and meet all deadlines established by D.E.S.E.
- Correct errors/warning as needed to Certify MOSIS file that will populate core data screens.
- Attend training, workshops and webinars related to Core Data/MOSISS to stay current on changes in state reporting.
- Function as main point of contact for Infinite Campus support within the district.
- Collect and enter data into Infinite Campus as required for Core Data as well as other district reporting needs.
- Extract data out of local data systems.
- Validate data extracted from local systems.
- Merge extracted data into district level datasets.
- Prepare reports to share data with staff.
- Inform the School District about changes in reporting requirements.
- Type or prepare reports, compile data, and distribute information to parties both inside and outside of the district.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
